Description: Wedding Toast (KY) DK B/, M, foaled January 23, 2010 (Street Sense - Golden Sheba, by Coronado's Quest) get her third Graded event in a row with a strong victory in the 9 furlong $400K Grade I Beldame Stakes at Belmont Park September 26, 2015. Jockey Jose Lezcano sent Wedding Toast directly to front out of the gate, out of the chute and up the back stretch. Hot Stones and Curalina took up the chase, however, Wedding Toast was allowed to set her own pace. She coasted around the far turn and started to draw away down the lane to win by 2 3/4 lengths over Curalina. Catch My Drift was 5 lengths further back in 3rd. Wedding Toast's previous win, the Grade I Ogden Phipps, got her a free entry into the Breeders' Cup Distaff October 30th at Keeneland. She is 8-2-1 from 12 starts and she has earned $1,419,956.
