Description: Tepin (KY) B , F, foaled March 14, 2011 (Bernstein - Life Happened, by Stravinsky) got a ground saving trip with Miguel Mena to win the 1 mile Grade III $500K Delta Downs Princess Stakes November 23, 2013. Tepin got in a little tight going into the far turn but as Bahnah started to accelerate, Tepin simply followed her. Those two drew away from the field as they turned for home and Tepin collared Bahnah at the 1/16 marker. Tepin went on to score by 1 1/4 lengths. It was another 5 1/4 lengths back to Concave in 3rd. Tepin is 2 for 4 and has earned $342,084. She was bred by Machmer Hall and she is owned by Robert E. Masterson. She is being trained by Mark E. Casse.
