Jockey Julien Leparoux rated Sparkling Review behind the log jam up front. Kiss Moon was setting the pace but there were several within a length of her up the back stretch. Sparkling Review was sitting in 7th while the field rounded the far turn. Kiss Moon was able to kick clear turning for home and Sparkling Review found a seam and angled outside down the stretch to run on by Kiss Moon to win by 2 3/4 lengths. Lady Lara came running late to edge Kiss Moon by a neck for the place. Sparkling Review has 4 wins from her 5 starts and she has earned $303,642 for her owners Edward Seltzer and Beverly Anderson.
