Jockey Javier Castellano settled Rock Fall into a stalking position behind the pace set by Favorite Tale. The Big Beast was up close keeping the pressure on Favorite Tale and as they rounded the far turn. Favorite Tale cut the corner for home and had the lead mid track, however, The Big Beast became the danger to his outside and Rock Fall was making a bid in the middle of the track. Those two came down to the wire in a head bob with Rock Fall getting the win by a nose. It was 2 lengths further back to Favorite Tale who saved the show.
