Description: Oxbow (KY) B , C, foaled March 26, 2010 (Awesome Again - Tizamazing, by Cee's Tizzy) made some points toward his Kentucky Derby berth as he made every pole a winning one in the 1 mile 70 yds $200K Grade III LeComte Stakes January 19 2013 at Fair Grounds. He drew off by 11 1/2 widening lengths over 2nd place finisher Golden Soul. It was another 1 1/2 lengths back to Fear the Kitten in 3rd. Hall of Fame Trainer D Wayne Lukas has a couple of promising 3 year olds as his Will Take Charge won the Smarty Jones Stakes at Oaklawn 2 days later. Oxbow was bred by Colts Neck Stables LLC and he is owned by Bluegrass Hall LLC. Jon Court was the winning rider. Oxbow has won 2 of 6 races and $217,500.  Drawing by Daily Racing Funnies ®.
