Description: Off the Tracks (KY) B, F, foaled February 15, 2013 (Curlin - Harve de Grace, by Boston Harbor) gets her first Grade I victory in the 8.5 furlong $300K Mother Goose Stakes at Belmont Park July 2, 2016. Jockey Jose Ortiz and Off The Tracks went straight to the front and sped along in quick fashion (22.79, 45.53, 1:09.62, 1:34.51), drew off down the stretch to win by 3 1/2 lengths in a final time of 1:41.01. Mom's On Strike pressed the pace and gave way at the 6 furlong marker.  Lewis Bay, stumbled badly at the break, tracked the leaders from third while saving ground around the far turn, came off the rail turning for home, chased after the winner down the stretch and had to settle for the place. Lightstream made her bid from the far outside turning for home and got the show 1 length behind Lewis Bay. Off The Tracks is 4-1-1 from 6 starts and she has earned $485,594 for her owners, Newtown Anner Stud and J Stables. She was bred by Lee McMillin and she is being trained by Todd Pletcher.
