Jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. settled Mrs McDougal into stride on the outside as Feathered and Cara Marie went out to set the pace. As they went around the far turn Cara Marie battled with Feathered the rest of the way as Mrs McDougal can running at them on the outside to get up time to win by a 1/2 length over Feathered. Cara Maria had to settle for the show by a nose. Mrs McDougal is 3-0-0 from starts and she has earned $212,880 for her owners Mr. and Mrs. William Warren.
