Description: Molly Morgan (KY) B , M, foaled April 21, 2009 (Ghostzapper - Capitulation, by Distorted Humor) found the rail under the lights and went on to win the 1 mile $200K Grade II Chilukki Stakes at Churchill Downs November 1, 2014. Jockey Corey Lanerie said in his post race interview that Molly Morgan seems to be a different horse under the lights at Churchill Downs and she runs best down on the rail. Molly Morgan settled into stride up the back stretch as Honey Hues was free wheeling on the front end. Drama Drama was chasing that one as they went into the far turn. Molly Morgan was moved up between horses then went inside of Drama Drama and found her sweet spot along the rail. Honey Hues came out a bit as they straightened for home and Molly Morgan moved up strongly along the rail to go on to win by 2 1/4 lengths over Street Girl who also closed well along the inside. It was 1/2 length further back to Enchanting Lisa in 3rd. Molly Morgan is 7-4-6 from 26 starts and she has earned $662,407 on the race track.
