Jockey Rafael Bejarano and Midnight Storm out gunned Heart To Heart for the lead to take command around the Clubhouse turn and made every pole a winning one. Heart To Heart and Tourist tracked the leader up the back stretch and Heart To Heart went up to challenge as they rounded the far turn. Midnight Storm repelled Heart To Heart as they turned for home and out-finished Tourist by a head as those two battled down the stretch.
