Description: Jess's Dream (KY) DK B/, C, foaled January 22, 2012 (Curlin - Rachel Alexandra, by Medaglia d'Oro) namesake of Jess Jackson (1930-2011), founder of Kendall-Jackson Wines and founder of Stonestreet Farms, is Rachel Alexandra's first foal. He made it to the racetrack in the middle of his three year old year and under careful training by Kiaran McLaughlin he won his first race. A 9 furlongs MSW, which is not a distance one usually sees a first time starter, jockey John Velazquez settled him well off the pace and trailed early by as many as 18 lengths. He got rolling as they rounded the far turn, saved ground to the stretch, came outside for clear running and ran down the leaders in deep stretch to win by a length. Securitiz was second, it was just a 1/2 length further back to Godrevy in 3rd.  Jess's Dream was bred by Stonestreet Farms &The Estate of Harold T McCormick and he is owned by Stonestreet Farms.  Drawing by Daily Racing Funnies ®.

Greeting Cards: Our greeting cards are made on #80 Linen White card stock. They are horizontal measuring 7 1/2 X 5 folded. The Funnie is printed on the front only, the inside and back is blank. Each card comes with its own envelope.

Archival Prints: Daily Racing Funnies by Mel archival prints are printed on Premium Archival Matte Paper 210 gsm. The Funnies have vivid color and look great framed (frame not included).
