Description: Grandeur (IRE) GR/RO, G, foaled April 9, 2009 (Verglas (IRE) - Misskinta (IRE), by Desert Sun (GB) wins the $250K Grade II 1 1/2 miles Hollywood Turf Cup at Hollywood Park December 15 2012. He stalked the pacesetters and rallied to the front at about the 1/16 pole and held Interaction safe by 3/4 of a length. It was another 3/4 lengths back to Optimizer who finished third. Three year old Grandeur came from the United Kingdom November 2 and won the Grade II Twilight Derby at Santa Anita, then finished second in the Hollywood Derby November 25. He has won 6 of 12 lifetime starts and has earned $398,438. He was bred by Mrs Cherry Faeste and he is owned by Yvonne Jacques.
