Description: Chriselliam (IRE) B , F, foaled February 2, 2011 (Iffraaj (GB) - Danielli (IRE), by Danehill) flew over from her native Great Britain to win the the 1 mile $1 million Grade I Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf at Santa Anita November 1, 2013. Jockey Richard Hughes made the trip to North America with her, Hughes was aboard when she won the Group I Weight for Age Stakes at Newmarket in September. Chriselliam was well covered in mid pack as Nesso was out front setting the pace. North American sensation My Conquestadory was giving chase and took the lead rounding the far turn. She looked to be going for her 3rd Graded victory in as many starts at the top of the lane. Chriselliam had a dream trip as jockey Hughes guided her through traffic and found a clear lane to the outside as they hit the head of the stretch. She ran down My Conquestadory around the 1/16th marker and went on to win by 2 1/2 lengths. Testa Rossi came flying late to get second. It was just a 1/2 length further back to Colonel Joan in 3rd as My Conquestadory faded to 4th. Chriselliam is now 3 for 6 and she has earned $729,684 for her owners, former jockey Willie Carson and his partners Chris Wright and Emily Asprey.
