Description: Bourbon Courage (KY) B , C, foaled March 3, 2009 ( Lion Heart - Shine Forth, by Carson City) left no doubt who was the best in Louisiana in the Super Derby September 8 2012. He had momentum going into the turn and just kept on coming. At the head of the stretch Master Rick has come away with the lead but Bourbon Courage caught him at the 1/8 pole and drew away. Bourbon Courage was bred by Oscar Penn & Eloise Penn and he is owned by Bourbon Lane Stable and Lynn, Wayne. He is trained by Kellyn Gorder and was ridden by jockey Leandro R.
