Description: Power Broker (KY) CH , C, foaled February 15, 2010 (Pulpit - Shop Again, by Wild Again) ran off and hid in the 1 1/16 miles $250K Grade I Frontrunner Stakes at Santa Anita September 29 2012. He came back as the second betting choice in the 1 1/16 $2 million Grade I Breeders' Cup Juvenile. Power Broker was forced to go very wide, he ended up 5th beaten less than 5 1/2 by Shanghai Bobby. Power Broker has only won the Grade I Frontrunner, but he did win 10 points towards his Kentucky Derby berth. He has been in the money 3 of 5 starts and has earned $242,600 for his owners Gary and Mary West. He was bred by Jamm, Ltd. Power Broker is being trained by Bob Baffert and is ridden by Rafael Bejarano.

Treasury Bill (KY) CH , C, foaled February 2, 2010 (Lemon Drop Kid - Wow Me Free, by Menifee) stalked the leaders, came 4 wide out of the turned and gained the place in the 7 furlong $150K Grade II San Vicente stakes at Santa Anita February 17 2013. Shakin it Up won by 1 length, Treasury Bill was 3/4 of a length in front of 3rd place finisher Caballo Del Cielo. In his previous race, he won his 6 1/2 furlong MSW by a 1 1/4 lengths. He has finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in his 3 starts and has earned $69,000 for his owners The Wests. He was bred by Edward A. Seltzer & Beverly Anderson. He is trained by Ronald Ellis and is ridden by Joe Talamo.

Flashback (KY) GR/RO, C, foaled April 12, 2010 ( Tapit - Rhumb Line, by Mr. Greeley) is a highly touted contender for the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby the first Saturday in May 2013. He is a full brother to the Grade I winning mare Zazu. Flashback made every pole a winning one in his victory in the 1 1/16 miles $200K Grade II Robert B Lewis Stakes February 2 2013 at Santa Anita Racetrack. He responded gamely when challenged by He's Had Enough and began pulling clear at the top of the lane and eventually won by 6 1/4 lengths at the wire over Den's Legacy in 2nd. It was another 1/2 length back to He's Had Enough in 3rd. There were only 4 horses in this year's edition of the Robert B Lewis, nonetheless, Flashback showed such domination it is doubtful a larger field would have made any difference in the outcome. He earned 10 points towards his Kentucky Derby berth. He is now 2 for 2 and has won $147,000 for his owners Gary and Mary West. Flashback was bred by William G. Andrade MD & Michael E. Hernon, he is trained by Bob Baffert and was ridden by Julien R. Leparoux.

Code West (VA) DK B/, R, foaled April 12, 2010 (Lemon Drop Kid - Charitabledonation, by Saint Ballado) has only won one race, a 1 1/16 mile MSW at Santa Anita Park October 26 2012. However, Code West ran a monster race in his second place finish just a nose behind the winner, I've Struck a Nerve in the 1 1/16 miles $400K Grade II Risen Star Stakes at Fair Grounds February 23 2013. Code west has been in the money in all 6 of his starts and has won $146,000 for his owners, the Wests. He was bred by Edward P. Evans. He is trained by Bob Baffert and is ridden by Martin Garcia.
