Description: Tepin (KY) B , F, foaled March 14, 2011 (Bernstein - Life Happened, by Stravinsky) beats up on her male counterparts in the 8 furlong $2 million Grade I Breeders' Cup World Championships Mile over the turf course rated 'good' at Keeneland October 31, 2015. Jockey Julien Leparoux and Tepin shot out of the gate and found the rail from post seven to lead the field heading towards the first turn. Obviously came running up to her outside for the lead and Tepin angled off the rail for the run up the back stretch. Tepin tracked the leader around the far turn, moved up to engage Obviously as they turned for home, however, she simply went right on by him at the furlong marker and coasted home to a 2 1/4 length victory. Mondialiste came late for the place 1 1/4 lengths in front of Grand Arch. Tepin wins one of the worlds best races over a high quality field with International runners. She is 7-3-1 from 15 starts and she has earned $2,475,973. Tepin was bred by Machmer Hall and she is owned by Robert Masterson. She is being trained by Mark Casse. Drawing by Daily Racing Funnies ®.
